The summer of Olympique Lyonnais is marked by several movements and rumours. Duje Caleta-Car, a Croatian defender loaned to Real Sociedad, aroused the anger of Sidney Govou, club legend, who strongly criticized his messages on social networks, judging them superficial and free. At the same time, the midfielder Benjamin Bouchouaari is courted by OL, despite an imminent transfer to the Turkish club of Trabzonspor. OL seem determined to recruit him, even if it implies competing with his eternal Lyon rival.
The Lyon Club is also continuing its efforts to strengthen its staff, including the post of goalkeeper. After Lucas Perret’s departure, Rémy Descamps made a big difference in the friendly games, but the arrival of a new goaltender was envisaged. OL negotiates with the RC Deportivo de La Corogne for the young goaltender Dominik Greif, while the Belgian club RWDM Brussels is also interested in Romain Perret, an offensive milieu that left OL this summer.
The Lyon team is preparing to face RC Lens on August 16, with a friendly match against Getafe scheduled for August 9 in Bourgoin-Jallieu. The match will be arbitrated by Jérémy Pignard, from Villefranche-sur-Saône. OL focuses on preparing for this difficult trip to Ligue 1, while continuing to negotiate with different clubs to strengthen their team.
