Ekitike: Frankfurt values its attacker and PSG expects substantial revenues

Following a particularly remarkable season in the Eintracht Frankfurt, attacker Hugo Ekitike, formerly linked to Paris Saint-Germain, experienced a significant surge in its value in the transfer market. His career at the PSG, marked by an undesirable status under the direction of Galtier and a summer sale in Frankfurt for less than 16 million euros, contrasts with his outstanding performance in Germany. This season, the French international hope was distinguished by an impressive record of 14 goals and 5 assists in the Bundesliga, pushing its score to unprecedented levels.

The Eintracht Frankfurt, with this financial manna, aims to capitalise on the value of its player, considering that a transfer could only take place at a minimum price of 80 million euros, with the intention of keeping Ekitike until the summer of 2026. This transaction would be part of a strategy already proven by the German club, having previously made lucrative sales of players such as Randal Kolo Muani and Omar Marmoush, transferred respectively to PSG and Manchester City for considerable sums.

Despite the apparent unfavourable situation for Paris Saint-Germain, a specific clause negotiated during Ekitike’s departure to Frankfurt could alleviate this disadvantage. Aware of the player’s potential, the Parisian leaders included a clause granting the club of the capital 20% of the added value in the event of a resale of Ekitike by Frankfurt, a sum likely to prove substantial and to help strengthen the finances of the red and blue team.
