Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ghana’s attacker, left Stade Rennais for Atalanta Bergamasque after a two-and-a-half year stay in France. This transfer marks the fourth club for the 23-year-old in five years, after his arrival from Nordsjรฆlland in 2021. During his visit to Rennes, Sulemana played 47 games, scored 6 goals and delivered 4 assists, although the club had a relegation to the Championship. The Atalanta Bergamasque has committed with the player for an estimated amount of 17 million euros, bonuses and resale percentage included.
At the same time, Stade Rennais is active in the summer transfer market. Ligue 1 changed its dates, with a mercato opening from 1 to 10 June and a reopening from 16 June to 1 September. Loum Chaouna, an attacker trained in Rennes, made a five-year commitment with Burnley, England, for compensation estimated at 15 million euros.
