GOC Nice fears offensive departures and must reinforce its attack

OGC Nice started its pre-season with two wins in pre-season games, including a 3-0 win over Aubagne. However, the future of Gaëtan Laborde, a key attacker who scored 11 goals in Ligue 1 last season, is uncertain and prompts strong discussions within the club. Nice coach Franck Haise confirmed the possibility of an imminent departure for Laborde, which is of particular concern to the sports management.

In addition to Laborde, other offensive departures are envisaged, notably that of Evans Guessandes. The team currently has few leading centres of quality, with Terem Moffi as the only real number 9. This situation led Franck Haise to stress the need to strengthen the attack of the Nice GOC if these departures materialize.

Faced with this potential shortage of attackers, Franck Haise stresses the importance of filling this position. He said we should work actively on recruiting a new pre-centre as soon as the departures of Laborde and Guessandes are confirmed. This statement reflects the team’s commitment to maintaining a high level of performance despite possible changes in the workforce.
