Last weekend, the famous Brazilian footballer Pelé celebrated his 80th anniversary with his family and friends in Santos, his hometown in Brazil. Among the guests were many former teammates and friends, such as Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Zico.
The party was organized by the Pelé family and took place in a sports complex in Santos where he played for the local football club for more than two decades. The guests attended friendly matches between former Santos players and also had the opportunity to meet the legends of Brazilian football.
Pelé, who is considered one of the best footballers of all time, was honored with a giant birthday cake and moving speeches from his friends and former teammates. He also received personalized gifts from his relatives.
The festival was a joyous and nostalgic celebration of Pelé’s incredible career, which won three World Cups with the Brazilian national team and scored more than 1,000 goals during his career. The guests all agreed that it was an honour to be present to celebrate the 80th anniversary of this living legend of football.
