At a press conference on Thursday noon, Marc Keller, representative of the Racing Club in Strasbourg, announced a series of immediate measures concerning four groups of supporters. These groups, the UB 90, the Pariser Section, the KCB and the Federation of Supporters, were punished following a statement deemed “attacking the institution”. The planned actions include access to the premises only in the presence of security, the prohibition of using the fabricating space of the tifos and tapeRolles, the obligation to pre-validate visual messages with automatic refusal for any political, ideological, offensive or discriminatory content. In addition, preferred access to the stadium and lawn is removed, tickets becoming nominative again and ticketing facilities disappear, with the reinstating of stadiers in the kop. The club expresses a sense of treason in the face of this evolution of relations with the groups of supporters, and claims to return to a more common situation in League 1.
The Racing Club in Strasbourg also provided practical information for the trip to Bratislava, Slovakia, for the Champions League match. Fans wishing to buy a ticket for visitor parking must visit the online ticket office of the club, accessible until Tuesday 30 September at 6 p.m. The club advises fans to go to the Irish Pub Dubliners in Bratislava from 2pm and then be transferred to the stadium by secure buses. The visitor area is scheduled to open by 7:30 p.m., and a 300-seat parking fee will be available near the stadium, under police supervision. Fans parked in this parking lot will be accompanied by law enforcement after the game.
Finally, the club recalls that no instructions will be available at the stadium and asks fans not to bring large bags, backpacks or prohibited items. These measures are taken with the aim of ensuring the safety and smooth running of the trip to Bratislava, while restoring a relationship of confidence with the supporters, after a period of tension. The club hopes that these changes will return to a more stable situation and respect the rules in force in professional football.
