The sixth and final day of the football training in Jenbach, Austria, was marked by a friendly meeting against Heidenhiem which was finally cancelled due to weather conditions. Initially scheduled for 3pm, this meeting was compromised by a heavy rain that made the terrain impracticable and dangerous. Despite an attempt to relocate to another land located 30km away, the teams could not play. Faced with this situation, the Strasbourg team opted for intense physical training, focused on high intensity races, in order to avoid any risk related to the conditions of the field.
This training session saw the participation of 25 players, while 9 of them benefited from additional recovery. Dozens of Strasbourg supporters went there to encourage the team, watching their training and taking the opportunity to get autographs from some players. The atmosphere remained positive despite the cancellation of the game, the fans testifying to their support and loyalty to the team.
After these two well-deserved days of rest, the Liam Rosenior team went to Innsbruck airport to reach Strasbourg. A two-day rest is scheduled prior to the resumption of training on Tuesday morning. The team will then leave for Austria on Wednesday, where they will face Sturm Graz, marking the conclusion of this preparatory course.
