Virginius to Trabzonspor pending agreement and other LOSC movements

Trabzo NSOR and LOSC reached an agreement for the final transfer of Alan Virginius, the 22-year-old French winger, from a loan to the Young Boys in Bern. The transaction would be about 3 million euros. Although the agreement is concluded between the clubs, the player has not yet given his consent and takes the time to think before engaging with the Turkish club, according to the information of journalist Sacha Tavolieri. This confirms the LOSC’s willingness to separate from Virginius, recruited in 2022 for 5 million euros in Sochaux. The international French Espoirs, with 10 selections and 6 goals, achieved a correct season in Switzerland, with 7 goals and 4 assists in 45 matches in all competitions, and even participated in the Champions League.

For Alan Virginius, this transfer to the Turkish Sรผper Lig represents a new stage in his career, after his experiences in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and in the Swiss Super League. Trabz NSOR, who finished seventh in the Turkish championship, would have promised him a good time playing. However, the player takes the time to analyze all his options, other clubs being interested, including the Genoa in Serie A and the Young Boys who want to keep him permanently. Virginius was still under contract with LOSC until 2027, suggesting that he did not consider Trabz NSOR his current priority.

In parallel, LOSC appears to be active in the summer transfer market. Olivier Giroud, record man of the number of goals with the French team, would be about to join the club from Los Angeles FC, with a salary agreement already concluded. In addition, a transfer from Hamza Agami, the impressive Moroccan international striker in Scotland and the Europa League, would be in preparation with the Glasgow Rangers, for an estimated amount of EUR 15 million. The latter is also tracked by OM. These movements are in addition to other rumours of transfers to the LOSC, such as those concerning Lucas Chevalier and other players, indicating a period of significant change for the club.
