Sahi Dion leaves Lens for FCV Dendermonde in Belgium

The Lens Racing Club announced the transfer of Moïsé Sahi Dion, a 23-year-old attacker, to FCV Dendermonde in Belgium. Sahi Dion, trained at the Académie Afrique Football Élite in Bamako, had joined Racing in January 2021 and had played 35 matches all over the competition, scoring 6 goals. He had particularly impressed during his debut in 2021, notably by scoring a goal against Paris Saint-Germain. However, his progress had been hampered by numerous injuries, preventing him from imposing himself permanently in Strasbourg. This transfer represents a new stage in his career, pushing him into the Jupiler Pro League.

At the same time, the Racing team is currently training in Austria, specifically in Bad Häring. The team arrived in the morning and started training in the late afternoon, with the participation of players like Mike Penders and Joaquin Panichelli who joined the group. A total of 25 players participated in the second day of the internship, including names such as Johnsson, Bajic, and Messi. Some players, including Emegha, Barco and Sow, took a hotel-specific training program.

The training day began with a muscle warm-up followed by pass exercises and ball preservation. The team then focused on 11-11 oppositions, focusing on individual marking and cleaning. The preparer, Liam Rosenior, regularly interrupted the game to give instructions and analyze the sequences. Strike exercises were also organized, with Demba Diop and El Mourabet distinguishing. The seven players staying at the hotel took advantage of the afternoon for a bike ride. The course continues with training scheduled for tomorrow, ahead of a match against Udinese at 6 p.m.
