After the departure of Yvon Mvogo, FC Lorient secured its new goaltender for next season in Ligue 1. The club chose Bingourou Kama, a 28-year-old Senegalese player, currently free of contract. This signature, formalized after a successful medical visit, marks Kama’s return to the elite after a difficult period at Montpellier HSC where he played only five games, his last one being in November 2022 against Clermont. Kama, who has already worn the colours of the Racing Club in Strasbourg between 2017 and 2022, has won the Coupe de la Ligue in 2019. At the same time, Jordan Ferri’s future at Montpellier HSC seems uncertain. The 33-year-old midfielder is courted by Turkish and Gulf clubs, and even envisages a free start at the end of the season.
