Lily Yohannes is very pleased with her new life in Lyon, highlighting a positive integration into her team, both in terms of players and staff. After three weeks of training, she feels well received and appreciates the opportunity to train and soon play alongside players she admired as a child, like Wendiรฉ Renard. She describes this experience as a great honour and a dream come true, a challenging challenge for her personal and professional development. Lily is encouraged by the overall atmosphere of the team, the quality of training and the support received from her teammates, which contributes to her growing confidence.
Jonatan Giraldez’s integration as a coach is also seen positively by Lily, who recognizes her experience and rigor. She appreciates her method of intensity, combative mentality and the imposition of a specific style of play, where the constant presence on the ball, attack and defense are preferred. The atmosphere within the team is described as warm and positive, with a collective will to win and progress. Lily feels more and more confident, thanks to the integration facilitated by her teammates and the opportunity to contribute to the success of Olympique Lyonnais.
In parallel with OL’s preparation, the 51st Ciudad de Valladolid Trophy was cancelled due to poor lawn quality, depriving the Getafe team of an important pre-season meeting. This decision disappointed the Spanish club, which had to postpone its training. Despite this, Getafe has already played several summer prep games, but remains concerned about his difficulty scoring goals. The team is now preparing to face the Celta Vigo on August 17, in a final test before the start of the Liga.
