Stade Rennais has a new start with the departure of Carlos Andrés Gómez, who is part of a series of departures observed since the beginning of August. Arrived from Real Salt Lake the previous summer, the Colombian international was loaned with option to purchase at Gama Vasco, a Brazilian club operating in Series A. This new stage marks a return to South America for the player.

During his season at Stade Rennais, Gómez did not manage to win a lasting victory. Despite some opportunities, it was mainly used at the end of the match, only being a two-time holder. He nevertheless participated in 19 matches with the jersey “Rouge et Noir”, scoring three goals.

Despite a difficult season for the SRFC, Gómez contributed to an important result by setting a decisive goal against Le Havre on day 9.
