LOSC: Prudence despite the victory in Toulouse

Craintes Persist for LOSC Supporters Despite a Victory in Toulouse

Toulouse โ€“ Despite an encouraging victory (1-2) in Toulouse, LOSC supporters remain concerned about the upcoming deadlines. The club, currently fifth in the standings with 50 points, has to face five opponents before the end of the Ligue 1 season.

The victory in Toulouse, the result of a double of Matias Fernandez-Pardo (21’) and Mitchel Bakker (45+4’), was assured by the reflexes of Lucas Chevalier, who kept the gap. However, this performance was not enough to dispel supporters’ fears.

A recent poll revealed that 65% of participants, representing more than 1,000 voters, placed the LOSC in fifth or fourth place in the rankings after day 34. Only 25% of voters believe the Dogues will have a chance to compete in the Champions League next season. The trips to Angers and Brest, as well as the clashes against the AJ Auxerre, the Olympique de Marseille and the Stade de Reims, which will take place in the compound of the Decathlon Arena โ€“ Stade Pierre Mauroy, do not seem to reassure the Lille supporters. The prospect of these last meetings therefore gives rise to some caution.
