The Malian right side Falaye Sacko could consider leaving the MHSC this summer, attracting the interest of a European club. Originally permanently transferred to the MHSC in July 2023 from Vitoria Guimaraes, the 30-year-old played 17 games in all competitions in the last season, also contributing with a decisive pass. His profile attracted the attention of Neftchki PFK Baku, an Azerbaijani club that allegedly expressed interest in recruiting the player with the MHSC.

According to Azerbaijani media sources and Sportinfo, the Neftchki PFK Baku closely monitors Falaye Sacko and even makes an offer to MHSC. Although no official feedback from MHSC has been received, a financial proposal of approximately €400,000 would already be on the table. Discussions between the player and Baku’s leaders have been underway for a few days, indicating a possible willingness on his side to change club.

Falaye Sacko, a Malian international with 42 selections and 2 goals, is still under contract with the MHSC until June 2026. This contractual situation, combined with the interest of a European club and active discussions with Baku, suggests a possible transfer of Sacko during the summer mercato.
