Sport solidarity Strasbourg helps Meistratzheim after the fire

Following the devastating fire that hit the facilities of the Union Sportive in Meistratzheim, a tragic event that resulted in the destruction of a 700-square-metre building and the loss of equipment of all categories of the club, the Racing Club in Strasbourg demonstrated its solidarity by offering concrete support. This initiative reflects the CSR’s commitment to the local sport community and its willingness to help a brotherly club face a difficult challenge.

The fire, which occurred on the night of April 10-11, required the intervention of twenty firefighters and caused considerable damage, particularly affecting the jerseys intended for the teams, from the youngest categories (U7) to the senior team. Faced with this situation, the US Meistratzheim had already pointed out the valuable help provided by the RCS and the FCOSK 06, who had offered new jerseys for the different teams.

Thanks to this generosity, the Racing Club of Strasbourg sent out 80 complete outfits yesterday, allowing players of the US Meistratzheim to resume the competitions in their usual colors. This act of solidarity represents a real boost for the Meistratzheim club, which can now focus on reconstruction and recovery after this significant loss.
