Aboubacar Ali commits in Belgium to relaunch his sports career

Aboubacar Ali, the 19-year-old striker under contract with the Racing Club in Strasbourg, is about to leave the club to engage with the Royal Francs Borains in the Belgian Challenger Pro League (D2). This transfer, confirmed by the Belgian press, is a free start with a two-year contract, although Racing retains a buy-back clause. This decision follows a period when the young player struggled to win against competition in the Strasbourg team.

Originally from Rรฉunion, Aboubacar Ali had joined Strasbourg in January 2022, after having moved to Saint-Denis FC. He initially entered the Racing Reserve in National 3, before advancing to the first team, where he played nine Ligue 1 games in the 2023/2024 season. However, after losing the confidence of the coaches, he was loaned to Nรฎmes (National) and then to Torreense (Portuguese D2) during the last season.

This departure represents a new stage in the career of Abubacar Ali, who seeks to recover in Belgium. Free transfer offers him the opportunity to find a new context where he can fully express his potential. Although his visit to Strasbourg was not without difficulties, he demonstrated a certain talent, especially during his few appearances in Ligue 1, and this new opportunity could allow him to confirm his promising status.
