The Racing Club in Strasbourg officially transferred its attacker Aboubacar Ali to the Royal Francs Borains, a Belgian D2 club. The player, born in Réunion, had joined the Alsatian club in January 2022, after his passage through Saint-Denis FC, and had initially started with the Racing Reserve in National 3.

After being noticed with the first team, where he played nine Ligue 1 games in the 2023/2024 season, Aboubacar Ali experienced a more difficult period. Following a loss of confidence by the coaches, he was loaned to Nîmes (National) and then to Torreense (Portuguese D2) last season.
