``markdown Artois-Wattrelos: A new cycle is emerging with a renewed workforce
Wattrelos – Artois-Wattrelos is preparing to start a new era with a restructuring of its workforce. The management of the club intends to instil a new dynamic, with a balance between youth and experience, with the aim of regaining a group cohesion in the image of that built by Franck Haise during his passage.
Will Still, the new coach, has clearly expressed his desire for profound change for next season. He stressed the opportunity to start again on a new basis, setting ambitious targets for the next two to four seasons. “This summer, we have the opportunity to get back on a new cycle and lay the foundations for the club to be competitive,” he said at a press conference.
The project is important, with crucial decisions to be made regarding departures and arrivals. “There is a big project ahead of us, with important decisions to make. Everyone must be aligned and clear on the direction to be followed. The more transparent we are, the easier it will be to work calmly, as a team,” he added.
Jonathan Graditten, another key member of management, confirmed this commitment to change. “The goal is to sustain the club in the first part of the picture,” he said. Management emphasizes the need to avoid recruitment errors that have marked previous mercatos, stressing the importance of a thoughtful and coherent acquisition strategy. The future of the club is thus emerging on a basis of reconstruction and new directions.
