PSG in full mutation departure Donnaarumma and defensive reinforcements

Paris Saint-Germain plans to sell Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract expires in 2026, in order to avoid tensions in the team and a free start. The club hopes to get 25 million euros for the Italian goaltender, international with 74 selections, which interests Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. This decision follows a mixed 2024-2025 season and aims to ensure the club’s sustainability in terms of human resources.

At the same time, the PSG strengthened its staff with the arrival of Illia Zabarnyi, a Ukrainian central defender, who signed a five-year contract for 63 million euros, plus 3 million bonuses. This recruit, from Bournemouth, is part of the club’s desire to strengthen its defence with a young player, experienced and able to bring a new impetus to the Parisian rearguard. Its transfer is imminent and confirms the activity of the PSG during this summer mercato.

Other movements take shape within the club. Renato Marin, a young Brazilian goaltender, chose number 89 for his jersey, a choice already mentioned by the club. In addition, Luis Enrique expressed his ambition to improve the PSG game in the next season, focusing on the collective in attack and defense, while aiming to win all possible titles. These various initiatives demonstrate Paris Saint-Germain’s willingness to reinvent itself and maintain its status as a leading club in Europe.
