As he prepares to live his second season in the Phocéanian city, Rulli says he is fully fulfilling and seduced by the passionate atmosphere in Marseille. He points out that he has rarely felt such fervour in home matches throughout his career, saying that OM is for him the largest club in France and that he is experiencing a particularly pleasant and important period.

The Marseille team, after finishing the 2024-2025 season, will participate in the main phase of the Champions League. However, Geronimo Rulli is not content with this and has an enormous ambition: he is convinced that OM has the necessary qualities to compete with PSG. He unequivocally asserts that “if there is a team that can compete with Paris, it’s us”, thus testifying to the cohesion and confidence that drives him and that are reflected in the team’s enthusiasm for his coach, Roberto De Zerbi, whom he considers the best recruit last year.

For the 2025-2026 season, the Olympique de Marseille aims to narrow the gap between Paris Saint-Germain and the rankings. The team hopes to surpass the 19 points that separated them at the end of day 34 of the previous season. Geronimo Rulli’s message is therefore a call for determination and perseverance to achieve an ambitious goal: to establish OM as a serious competitor for the title of French champion.
