Reinforcement ASSE and departure of Batubinsika a new era for the team

The AS Saint-Étienne (ASSE) is currently in the process of strengthening its workforce, with notable arrivals such as Duffus, Annan and Ferreira. However, the management of the club places a particular priority on the team’s demise, with a view to regenerating the workforce and making room for new players. This strategy is reflected in the non-extension of the contracts of several players whose contracts had expired on 30 June, as well as the departures of Pierre Cornud, Ibrahim Sissoko and Lamine Foamba. In addition, Yvann Maco was unable to finalize his transfer to Switzerland due to a medical problem.

In this process of renewal, ASSE aims to separate itself from Dylan Batubinsika, a 29-year-old central defender who was a pillar of the Stéphanois defence during the ascent season. Despite an increased difficulty in recent months, the presence of Maxime Bernauler, Mickaël Nadéo, the new recruitment of Chico Lamba and the return of Beres Owusu’s loan guarantee a certain strength at the central hinge. The exit of Batubinsika is therefore clearly envisaged, and he no longer participates in group training.

Currently in interclub, Dylan Batubinsika follows an intensive physical program in Portugal under the supervision of Dario Pinto, physical preparer. This opportunity allows him to train alongside Gonçalo Ramos, attacking Paris Saint-Germain, also in physical preparation in the same center. Several Greek and Israeli clubs, including Hapoël Tel-Aviv, have shown interest in his profile. ASSE is now waiting to know the developments of this dossier pending a new project for the player.
