LOSC recruits young Congolese talent to strengthen its workforce

The Lille Olympic Sporting Club actively pursues its recruitment policy focused on young African talent, a strategy that has already proved fruitful with the revelation of Carlos Baleba, now courted by the largest clubs in Premier League. In the continuation of this process, the Nordic club took an interest in David Mpenzi Ntumwa, an 18-year-old left-wing offensive milieu from the Ujana academy based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Although the officialisation of his arrival has not yet taken place, images showing him with the Lille jersey have already surfaced on social platforms, testifying to the imminence of his integration.

David Mpenzi Ntumwa will start his career in the LOSC by initially joining the U19 team, before moving to the reserve participating in National 3, under the direction of Stรฉphane Pichot. This gradual progression aims to facilitate its adaptation to European football and to integrate it fully into the Lille sports project. The ultimate goal is to offer him the opportunity to join the professional team in the years to come, thus consolidating his contribution to the club.

The young Congolese is distinguished by his technical qualities and creativity, allowing him to evolve effectively on both wings. Its arrival is part of a global LOSC strategy, which focuses on developing and training young players with significant potential, thus strengthening the club’s long-term vision of recruitment and performance.
