Duffus initiated a procedure to obtain Jamaican nationality, granting ASSE an additional offensive solution over time. The friendly games served as a preparation, but the real event begins with the start of the championship.

The captain insisted on the importance of winning outdoor matches in League 2, considering each point as a crucial step in building a successful season. He recalled that the results of friendly matches were quickly forgotten and that attention should be paid to the game against Laval on August 9. The ambition is to strengthen the team and the links between the players through these meetings, focusing on performance and concrete results.
