Mercato summer OL TFC and Auxerre en mouvement

Olympique Lyonnais seems ready to separate from several young players during the summer mercato. Mahamadou Diawara, 20-year-old midfielder, did not impress during the pre-season and is not part of coach Paulo Fonseca’s plans. Despite a contract running until 2028, he had few interlocutors and FC Copenhagen, the Danish champion, would be particularly interested. This track, confirmed by several media, has not yet led to concrete discussions between the two clubs. OL, which had provided for a 50% clause on a future transfer of Diawara upon its arrival, could thus realize a great added value.

At the same time, Toulouse FC (TFC) is seeking to strengthen its workforce after difficult preparation. The violet team targets Gift Orbán, attacking Hoffenheim, who wants to return to League 1. This may have implications for the future of other TFC players, such as Frank Magri, who is little used and could leave the club. Other key players, such as Yann Gbohé and Noah Edjouma, are also courted, although the TFC is counting on them for the coming season.

Finally, the AJ Auxerre (AJA) is under discussion with the Berlin Union for the transfer of Sinaly Diomandé. The German club, resident of Bundesliga, would like to take over the Ivorian international defender, whose departure could be financially beneficial to OL, who had planned a share in the benefits of a future transfer. This operation is part of a policy of strengthening the AJ Auxerre, which could also see other key players leaving the club during this mercato.
