The National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) announced the three players selected for the title of “best player” in August. At the top of this list is Tyler Morton, an English midfielder at Olympique Lyonnais. Arriving from Liverpool, he quickly established himself as a key element of the Lyon team, bringing regularity and efficiency to the game. His contribution was particularly notable in the three OL victories against RC Lens, FC Metz and Olympique de Marseille, although he was not always decisive.
The other two players are Parisians, and more precisely the best scorers in the championship. Ilaan Kebbale, 27, confirmed his promising status with an exceptional start to the season for the Paris FC. In particular, he scored a double against FC Metz and a spectacular goal against Olympique de Marseille, asserting himself as a new star of the Paris team. João Neves completes the trio, his memorable triple against Toulouse FC having propelled him into the lead in the scoring and ensuring an indelible place in the history of the championship.
For his part, Luis Enrique unveiled the list of players selected for the reception of RC Lens on the fourth day of Ligue 1. Several absences are worth noting, notably those of Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, wounded with the team of France and therefore package for several weeks. However, good news comes back for Paris Saint-Germain with the return of Senny Mayulu after an injury to the right adductor. Fabian Ruiz, restored from a muscle alert, is also available. Finally, Noham Kamaara was recalled by Luis Enrique, thus completing the group of players ready to face Lens. The list of players selected for the PSG includes Chervadier, Marquinhos, Hakimi, Ramos, Barcola and Mbaye.
