Red Star Belgrade targets Glen Kamaara while Rennes rebuilds its staff

According to information reported by the team, the Belgrade Red Star made a financial proposal for the acquisition of Glen Kamaara. This approach comes as Stade Rennais, as part of a policy of downsizing, formalized Kyogo Furuhashi’s departure. The Japanese striker, who arrived in January, joined Birmingham City in Championship for an amount close to the amount initially paid by Stade Rennais at Celtic Glasgow a few months earlier.

In addition, the sports daily reveals that Glen Kamaara, also exempt from loan recovery by Stade Rennais, was also the target of an offer from the Red Star in Belgrade. The Serbian club reportedly offered 4 million euros for the Finnish midfielder, arrived last summer and then lent to Al-Shabaab in the second part of the season.

Stade Rennais seems to be waiting for a more substantial offer, estimated at between 5 and 6 million euros to sell Glen Kamaara. This situation highlights the movements of players around the Breton club, illustrating a period of renegotiation and restructuring of its staff.
