The ASSE is currently in the process of degreasing its summer workforce. Several players, including Yvann Masonet and Dylan Batubinsika, are looking for new clubs. Batubinsika, a central defender, is particularly courted by the Kocaelispor in Turkey, which already has a contractual agreement. However, an agreement with ASSE has not yet been reached, and the Stéphanois club will wait until the transfer market closes to make a decision. At the same time, the Kocaelispor explores other tracks, including Gezino Nyamsi, central defender of Lokomotiv Moscow, which would become the priority if the deal with Batubinsika failed. ASSE hopes to recover €750,000 for the transfer of Batubinsika, but could accept a lower offer given the deadline of the market.
In terms of women’s football, ASSE has expressed clear ambitions for the coming season. Coach Sébastien Joseph and player Rachel Corboz stressed the desire to build a strong and competitive project, faithful to the history of the club. After successful preparation, the team aims to secure its retention in the championship while maintaining ambitions for future seasons. The arrival of Corboz, former player of Reims, is seen as a major asset for the team, both in terms of game and leadership. The next match against Nantes will be a first opportunity to demonstrate the potential of the women’s ASSE.
