Nottingham Forest and Monaco running for Bakayoko Singo courted by Milan

While Anthony Elanga is about to join Newcastle, Nottingham Forest is mobilizing to find a replacement. The English club added the winger of the PSV Johan Bakayoko to his list of suitors, but the AS Monaco is currently perceived as the team most interested by the Belgian player. Bakayoko, who made a convincing season with the PSV Eindhoven (12 goals and 3 assists in 47 games), is courted by major European clubs. Discussions are under way with AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund, as reported by journalist Sacha Tavolieri. Recently, Nottingham Forest joined the list of contenders, as the English club is about to sell Elanga to Newcastle for close to 60 million euros and is already looking for a potential replacement.

Despite the interest of several clubs, AS Monaco seems to be the most eager club to acquire Johan Bakayoko, thus ahead of Borussia Dortmund in the negotiations. This news is encouraging for the Monegasques, who could attract a player with considerable potential. Estimated at 30 million euros on Transfermarkt, Bakayoko is under contract with the Eindhoven PSV until June 2026 and represents an interesting market opportunity. This situation comes as AC Milan seeks to strengthen its defence.

AC Milan, in search of a right side, has also shown its interest in Monegasque defender Wiilfried Singo, whose contract runs until June 2028. Despite a few missed matches in Ligue 1 due to an injury, Singo was a pillar of Monaco’s defense this season, which remains one of the best in the league. The Milan club, which made an offer for the Strasburg side Guela Douรฉ, seems particularly interested in the French championship. However, to reach an agreement with AS Monaco, it will be necessary to negotiate successfully, with Singo being valued at 25 million euros on Transfermarkt after its acquisition from the Torino in 2023.
