Lille-Auxerre: European Duel ahead

Lille and Auxerre compete for the European qualification

Lille - The LOSC will host the AJ Auxerre this Sunday at 3pm as part of the 30th day of Ligue 1. This meeting, of crucial importance for both teams, could have a significant impact on their chances of qualifying for the next edition of the Champions League.

After the playoffs of half of the teams targeted for Europe – notably the Olympique de Marseille, Monaco and Strasbourg – the LOSC, currently 6th in the standings with 50 points, is back at home. The Dogues, despite their position, remain determined to reach the podium.

The AJ Auxerre, on the other hand, settled comfortably in the middle belly of the standings with 38 points and would not be against a success of prestige. The two teams met for the first time since the draw (0-0) on the lawn of Abbé Deschamps on January 10.

Official compositions:

LOSC: Chevalier – Meunier, Diakité, Alexsandro, Ismaily – André (c), André Gomes – Haraldsson, David, Fernandez-Pardo – Akpom

AJ Auxerre: Léon – Hoever, Diomandé, Jubal (c), Akpa, Mensah – Massengo, Dioussé – Perrin, Bair, Sinayoko

The launch of this decisive poster will be given by referee Thomas Léonard (43 years old).
