L’Olympique Lyonnais for the weekend of 26-27 April
In Lyon, a player risks making a difference to Rennes this Saturday (26/04, 21:05). Released on stretcher last Sunday after a nasty sole of Lucas Stassin, Corentin Tolisso could have been absent for the rest of the season. However, optimism won the Olympique Lyonnais and the injury of the French world champion proved less serious than expected. A nice sprain of the knee or the possibility to see him resume training in the next few days.
Paulo Fonseca was mixed Thursday at a press conference about the possible presence of Tolisso in the group that will receive the Bretons Saturday night at Parc OL. He said that the player would be tested this Friday, then that one should expect a package. Finally, the former Bayern Munich player is well present in the band.
Lucas Perrin and Nemanja Matic return for this meeting after having been absent for different reasons. A hip injury kept the Serb away from the group that moved into the Forez. However, as revealed by our media, this was more of a diplomatic injury. Lucas Perrin went back and forth to Brazil to attend his wife’s delivery.
The Brazilian doorman will therefore be back in the Rhodanian cages this Saturday. The Lyon group will also count the return of Enzo Molebe, visibly recovered from his injury that occurred before the trip to Auxerre (1-3).
The men’s reserve will face FC Limonest Saint-Didier on Saturday 26 April at 6 p.m. at the Stade Courtois Fillot. Pierre Chavrondier’s players need a win to hope to climb National 2 next season.
Women’s OL players are looking to get up after a black series of four games without winning against affordable opponents. They face Montpellier this Saturday (26/04, 2.30 p.m.) to try to return to the leading trio composed of Grenoble, Clermont and Albi.
The women’s reserve moved to Dijon on Sunday 27 April at 3 p.m. for a revenge match after their home defeat against OM (1-2) in their last game.
