Montpellier and Marseille invest heavily in the training of young sports talent

Montpellier HSC continues its development policy by engaging with promising young players. The club recently welcomed Antéo Benedetto, an 18-year-old goaltender from AS Monaco. After three training seasons on this team, the young doorman, free of any contract, chose to join the Montpellier Hérault Sport Club to continue his progress. Benedetto, who has also developed at the Racing FC Toulon and integrated the Pôle Espoirs d’Aiix-en-Provence, represents an important reinforcement for the club, confirming its commitment to the formation of young talent.

The Olympique de Marseille, too, now places the emphasis on training young players. The club secured the arrival of Pladi N的Zinga Pambani, a central defender born in 2007, from Montpellier HSC. This player, trained at FC Massy 91 and already international U16 and U17 with the French team, has established himself as one of the most promising defenders of his generation. Its recruitment reflects OM’s ambition to structure its training and build the future of the club.

The arrival of Pladi N的Zinga Pambani is part of a broader strategy of the Olympique de Marseille, which also strengthened its team with players such as Fodé Camara, international U18 arrived from AS Saint-Étienne, and Felix Bienck, young left side of Paris FC. These strategic choices underscore the club’s willingness to build on training and build a strong future based on young talent. OM is no longer just strengthening its first team, but is actively investing in building its pool of players.
