LOSC moves to Angel Yondjo African hope for the future

Lille is preparing to strengthen its workforce with the potential arrival of Angel Yondjo, an 18-year-old Cameroonian attacker. According to Le Petit Lilleis, the player is expected to enter the LOSC soon, after having been spotted and followed by the club for more than a year. Yondjo, a member of the Cameroon Brewery Football School, a renowned centre for African talent training, is an international U20 and distinguished at the UNIFFAC tournament. His profile is considered one of the most promising in his country.

The LOSC accelerated negotiations to seize Yondjo, faced with the growing interest of other clubs such as Stade Rennais, FC Metz and Olympique Lyonnais. The transfer is expected to take place for between 1.5 and 2 million euros, a significant investment for a player who commits for a period of up to 2029 or 2030. The official signature is expected after a medical examination in the next few days.

Upon his arrival, Angel Yondjo will first join the LOSC reserve, with the aim of gradually moving towards the professional team. Its profile, characterized by its speed, technique and sense of purpose, could quickly surprise. This acquisition represents an important bet for LOSC, which builds on the potential of a talented young player for the future.
