LOSC targets Berké Özer as a talented goaltender despite Turkish club reluctance

Speculations about the LOSC and goaltender Berké Özer, recently arrived from Eyüpspor, are intensifying. The French club is actively looking for a replacement for Lucas Chevalier, a PSG party, and, according to Turkish sources, has sent observers to Turkey to follow the 25-year-old guard. Berké Özer, valued at €6 million by Transfermarkt, was observed in Eyüpspor’s recent defeat against Konyaspor (1-4). Despite this negative result, LOSC’s interest remains strong, the club being willing to recruit this Turkish international doorman known for his agility and remarkable reflexes.

Although some media are already announcing an imminent transfer, the situation is more complex. The Eyüpspor coach, Selçuk Şahin, tries to calm the rumors, insisting that he would only let Berké leave for an exceptionally lucrative offer. He stressed the player’s importance to the team and his desire to keep it. However, contingency plans are being developed and uncertainty increases as the LOSC accelerates its efforts.

The Turkish coach confirmed Berké’s value to his team, expressing the wish that he remained and highlighting his good season. He said that a satisfactory offer to the club could be considered, but that the player’s departure would only be considered if a strong proposal allowed the team to strengthen itself. In the event of Berké’s departure, the Eyüpspor would study a transfer from another goaltender, having already identified some names as withdrawal options.
