Enciso Strasbourg Chelsea a transfer in perspective

According to Fabrizio Romano, the young attacker paraguayen Julio Enciso should join the Racing Club in Strasbourg for the 2025/26 season, before joining Chelsea next summer. Aged 21, Enciso is considered a major offensive talent in South America, recognized for its speed, its ability to hit and create dangerous opportunities. This signature would represent an opportunity for the Strasbourg supporters to see him evolve into Ligue 1 before his potential transfer to London. The player would have signed a long-term contract, extending until 2031 with an option for 2032.

Brondby’s Danish coach Fredrik Birk analysed the Racing Club in Strasbourg, highlighting the quality of the team and the need to adapt to their speed and defence spaces. He expects an intense match, marked by a strong will to possess on both sides, although he believes that the confrontation will take place more between the two collectives than between individualities. Birk also expressed his enthusiasm for playing the game back in front of his audience, believing that the home advantage could be decisive, as demonstrated by their performance against Reykjavik.

The Danish coach also admitted that French football remains a discovery for the Brondby club, their attention being more focused on the Spanish Liga and the German Bundesliga. He believes that ending the home season is a favorable option, relying on the strength of Brondby Stadion, notably demonstrated in the return match against Reykjavik. A disappointment would be to fail to qualify for the next competition.
