RWDM Molenbeek gets license for the Jupiler Pro League

The American owner of OL, John Textor, can now breathe more quietly despite the administrative difficulties encountered in Belgium earlier this month. His Brussels club, RWDM Molenbeek, had been denied his license to play in the first division next season. However, Textor had reassured him that the file was solid and that it was sufficient simply to complete some administrative clarifications. And this seems to have been done since the licensing commission validated the RWDM commission.

Players temporarily trained by Gueïda Fofana until the end of the season will be able to play in the Jupiler Pro League, or stay in the second division if they fail to reach the top level. However, the Brussels are still far from considering playing in the first division next year. They were almost assured of being promoted three days from the end, but failed in the final sprint with a draw and two defeats. As a result, third place stands for dams.

The quarter-final go of the accession play-offs was not a clear success for Mohamed El Arouch’s teammates. They bowed to Lokeren’s lawn on Thursday night (2-0). If they can’t get back late this Sunday, April 27 during the return confrontation, their hope of rising will disappear permanently.
