Rosenior : Pride and Tactical Face Monaco

Rosenior Pride Despite the Nil in Monaco

Strasbourg – Liam Rosenior, coach of the Racing Club in Strasbourg, expressed his satisfaction and analysed the draw (0-0) against Monaco, highlighting the performance of his team against one of the best Ligue 1 clubs.

“I’m happy with several aspects of the game,” said Rosenior. “Monaco scored in every game they played this year 2025. I am once again very proud of this group!”

The coach pointed out that his team was able to resist Monegasque domination, qualifying the game as a “tactical battle” between two good teams. He stressed the importance of details in this type of confrontation. “When two good teams compete, that’s what happens in football, it’s a game of details,” he explained. Rosenior was particularly impressed by the cleaning set up by Monaco.

He also highlighted the crucial role of Djordje Petrovic, his goalkeeper. “Peterovic is beautiful. If you have an attacker and an incredible goaltender, you have a great chance of winning football. He has a strong presence and authority, it’s important to us.”

Rosenior acknowledged that the defeat, despite Monegasque domination, was a source of disappointment for some players, but stressed the progress made by his team in record time.
