The LOSC in the race for the podium despits a gruelling season

The LOSC is more determined than ever to reach the podium in this haletante season. The strength of a united group, led by Bruno Genesio, is a valuable asset in the fight for qualifying places in European competition.

The season was difficult, perhaps even equivalent to several seasons played at once in the North. However, the LOSC must stay on course and continue to fight with its direct competitors: OM (2nd, 55 pts), AS Monaco (3rd, 54 pts), OGC Nice (5th, 51 pts), OL (6th, 51 pts) and RC Strasbourg (7th, 51 pts).

The LOSC collective is driven by a collective ambition, but also by an unwavering link that unites each of its members. Bafodé Diakité described this dynamic after the victory against AJ Auxerre: “We know that there will be departures and changes, so we think that we must give the maximum to enjoy all together until the end.”

HÃ¥kon Haraldsson shares this vision: “The mindset of the group is paramount. If you don’t play like a team, it’s hard to get good results. Team spirit is sacred.”

The LOSC may not be the coolest team, but it has a collective strength that could make a difference in this final sprint. Bruno Genesio points out that this cohesion is characterized by efforts on counter-attacks and defensive replacements of everyone at the loss of the ball.

“We feel there is a team that is body together,” adds the LOSC coach, conscious that this has not always been the case. However, everyone is now in tune to achieve the remaining goals in this final sprint consisting of four stages: Angers, Marseille, Brest and Reims.
