The Racing Club in Strasbourg recently saw two players from its first team, Milos Lukovic and Oscar Perea, joining the trainings of the reserve team. This situation, led by a new duo of coaches (Nicolas Seube and Anthony Sichi), raises questions about their pace and future opportunities within the professional group. There were signs of a lack of pace, notably with Lukovic training separately and Perea having difficulty completing a race exercise. This integration into the reserve could be interpreted as a need to regain sensations or, conversely, as an indicator of limited prospects in the first team.
At the same time, the women’s team of the Racing Club in Strasbourg announced the recruitment of two new attackers, Ananee Yeboah and Eseosa Aigbogun. These arrivals are part of an increase in the female workforce, following several contract extensions and new recruits in June. Yeboah, from the club’s training centre and having already made his first team debut, returns to Racing for the 2025-2026 season. Aigbogun, an experienced Swiss international, joined the club after several successful seasons in France and Italy, becoming the first Swiss player in the history of Racing.
Finally, the Racing Club in Strasbourg communicated its friendly match programme to prepare for the upcoming season. After returning to training in July, the team will play five friendly meetings, three of which will be broadcast on BFM Alsace and the other two on different online platforms. The club is about to start a series of intensive preparations before going on an internship in Austria. In addition, the calendar for the first day of Ligue 1 McDonald’s was unveiled, with RC Strasbourg opposed to FC Metz.
