The transfer market in Turkey remains open, providing an opportunity for players looking for new projects. Dylan Batubinsika, an ASSE defender, was courted by several clubs, including Kocaelispor, but a transfer no longer seems imminent. Despite prolonged negotiations, the agreement did not succeed due to disagreements over transfer payments with ASSE and another Russian club. Batubinsika is currently with his national selection and has little time to find a new club, otherwise he risks a season without professional competition. ASSE should receive financial compensation in this operation.
At the same time, the association “Socios Verts” is about to achieve its objective of allowing ASSE supporters to enter symbolically into the capital of the club. After four years of work, the subscription campaign, launched in August, raised nearly 110,000 euros out of the 120,000 euros needed. This historic initiative, made possible by the purchase of shares by former Managing Director Vincent Tong Cuong and supported by the new majority shareholder Ivan Gazidis, aims to strengthen the link between the institution and its supporters.
If the operation succeeds, supporters will hold 0.1% of the capital and have an official representative at the club’s general meeting. This symbolic participation, accessible from 19,33 euros, is seen as a strong signal of the supporters’ commitment to the future of ASSE. The aim is to give supporters a voice in the club’s strategic decisions, thus opening up a new era of more open and participatory governance. The Green Socios are stepping up their efforts to achieve the financial objective by 12 September.
