Zabarnyi PSG pending transfer Sakho support

In the heart of the summer mercato, Bournemouth’s central defender, Illya Zabarnyi, was surprised in New York with his companion, causing many speculations. This stay, far from being discreet, coincides with the presence of Paris Saint-Germain in the United States for the World Cup of Clubs, fuelling rumours of an imminent transfer. Sources indicate that Zabarnyi would already have a five-year agreement with the PSG, attracted by the Parisian project. Despite this trip, the Ukrainian player returned to Europe and resumed training with Bournemouth, demonstrating a certain commitment despite the tense negotiations between the two clubs.

Discussions between Bournemouth and the PSG regarding Zabarnyi’s transfer remain blocked, despite two successive offers of €50 million and €65 million. Bournemouth first wants to secure the signature of a replacement before releasing his player, and is currently negotiating with the LOSC for defenceman Bafodé Diakité. Pending a final resolution, Zabarnyi prepares the season with his current club, hoping to soon evolve at the Parc des Princes.

During the World Cup of Clubs, Mamadou Sakho, a consultant for DAZN, expressed with a palpable emotion his support for the PSG. The former Parisian defender reacted strongly to the victory of his former club against Bayern Munich, especially after the decisive goal of Ousmane Dembélé. Faced with a Bayern team reduced to nine men after two evictions, Sakho felt the anxiety of equalization, but the joy of Dembélé’s goal was a real liberation, expressed with a raw and communicative emotion.
