Summer stage crucial for ASSE for the new season

The ASSE team continues its summer preparation with a crucial internship in Aix-les-Bains, starting on July 17. This pre-season phase, which follows a first month of physical training and friendly games, is designed to strengthen group cohesion and accelerate the physical rise of players. Under the direction of Eirik Horneland, the internship will include an intensive program of training, tactical work and friendly encounters. The main objective is to integrate new recruits and refine the team’s strategy for the coming season, while remaining attentive to possible movements in the transfer market.

The internship in Aix-les-Bains is particularly important as it includes two quality preparation matches against the Servette Genรจve on 18 July and the Paris FC on 25 July. These meetings offer the team the opportunity to test its tactics and measure its level of play against European and French opponents. The technical staff will also take advantage of these matches to make adjustments and evaluate individual and collective performances. These two meetings are part of a rigorous preparation program aimed at preparing the team for the competition season.

Before the departure for Aix-les-Bains, ASSE has already completed an internship at Chambon-sur-Lignon and played two victorious friendly games against the Star Carouge and Troyes. The preparation program runs until 2 August, with a friendly match against Cagliari in Italy, closing the preparation. The team has a full staff, including guards, defenders, backgrounds and attackers, all ready to meet the challenge of the new season. The preparation is therefore intense and methodical, aimed at ensuring the best possible result for ASSE.
