The Board of Directors of the Professional Football League officially announced the summer and winter mercato dates for the 2025-2026 season. In four days, the podium race will be over and the 2024-2025 season will end. Each club will then plan on the next exercise and its different stages.

For some clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, this will start with the World Cup of Clubs, which will take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025. It was in this context that the Professional Football League had formalized at the end of February the exceptional period of mercato desired by FIFA, from 1 to 10 June 2025.

In addition to this first window of transfers, the Board of Directors of the LFP decided, at its meeting on Wednesday, April 23, on the dates for the summer and winter mercatos of the 2025-2026 season. The summer mercato, the most important for all French clubs, will take place from Monday 16 June to Monday 1 September 2025, at 8 p.m. The winter mercato will take place between Thursday, 1 January 2026 and Monday, 2 February 2026, at 8 p.m. as well.
