Emirates extended its partnership with Olympique Lyonnais until 2030
Emirates and Olympique Lyonnais announced the renewal of their partnership for five additional seasons. This new contract will allow Emirates to remain the main sponsor of OL, with its slogan “Fly Better” on match and training jerseys. The brand will also have a strong presence at the Groupama Stadium, as well as numerous marketing and digital rights.
Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice-President of Emirates, said: “It is a pride to continue this collaboration with such a respected club in France.” John Textor, owner of OL, also welcomed the announcement: “This relationship of trust, established for four years, will continue to grow. Together, we want to offer fans unforgettable experiences of sharing and escaping through football.”
In addition to the visibility on the jerseys and at the stadium, Emirates also offers an exceptional experience for young Lyon fans thanks to the Escort Kids. This initiative allows sick children to enter hand in hand with OL players during matches. This partnership goes beyond sport and allows OL to recover money, while the club’s finances are in crisis.
