Stade Brestois will be deprived of several of its key players during his trip to the Vélodrome against the Olympique de Marseille on Sunday 27 April. The goaltender Marco Bizot will be suspended for this match after having won his third yellow card in less than ten games for saving time in the draw against Saint-Étienne (3-3). He will be replaced by Grégoire Coudert, who had already shown that he could respond present in this kind of context during the success of Brestois against OM in January 2023 (1-0).
In defense, Abdoulaye Ndiaye will also miss the move after being excluded against Lens for a hand in the surface that led to a penalty. This absence weakens a defensive sector already damaged in recent weeks.
Finally, striker Ludovic Ajorque, who recently arrived in Brest, had to leave his teammates in the 66th minute of the game against Lens visibly hit muscle. His participation in the meeting against OM seems compromised while the club is still waiting for the results of the medical examinations.
Faced with a Marseille team looking for points and driven by its audience, Brest will have to deal with these lack of weight to hope to bring back a result in this direct confrontation in the race to Europe.
