ASSE: Two uncertain players for Strasbourg, Bouchouari probably package

AS Saint-Étienne travels to Strasbourg for the 31st day of Ligue 1, after winning the derby the previous week (2-1). The Greens must now chain to ensure that they remain in the elite. Eirik Horneland, coach of ASSE, presented himself in press conference this Thursday and announced that two players are uncertain and worried: Benjamin Bouchouari and Pierre Cornud. Eirik Horneland said Benjamin Bouchouari is probably a package until the end of the season, while Pierre Cornud took a kneelash this week. Lucas Stassin and Irvin Cardona also had some worries this week, while Augustine Boakye is out for the season. Regarding Lucas Stassin, Eirik Horneland said he’s doing a very good job right now, with 11 goals scored in 15 games played. He attributed this success to their offensive game style and the opportunities created by his teammates. He also mentioned that Lucas Stassin adapted to League 1 and made progress thanks to his hard work. Finally, he explained that when Ibrahim Sissoko was suspended, Lucas Stassin was the available attacker that best matched their style of play.
