LOSC: Three consecutive wins, a new dynamic

The LOSC returned to a victorious dynamic last Sunday in Angers, winning the 2-0 score. This victory was the third consecutive for the Lille team, which had experienced a similar series more than a year ago, in March-April 2024.

The Dogs have often been criticized this season for their lack of regularity, especially in the face of teams better ranked than them. However, they have repeatedly proven their ability to overcome the promotion, having won 19 of their 24 games against this type of team since the 2020-2021 season.

The victory at Angers was achieved thanks to goals scored by Alexsandro, who scored all his goals in Ligue 1 of the lead, and Hakon Haraldsson, who was doubly decisive. The Lilles thus took third place in the standings, with one match less than their direct competitors.

The next challenge for the LOSC will be to receive the Olympique de Marseille this Sunday evening as part of the 32nd day of Ligue 1. A win would allow the Doges to make a four-run pass and take second place in the standings, provided Monaco does not win against Troyes.

More than 45,000 spectators are expected in the spans of the Decathlon Arena - Stade Pierre Mauroy to encourage their team towards this new goal.
