The Women’s Racing Club of Strasbourg continues its recruitment with the recent arrival of Ivorian international Ines Konan. This 23-year-old, from FC Fleury, is committed to a season after shining in Côte d’Ivoire with her club, Inter Abidjan. Konan was twice a champion and elected the best player in the Ivorian championship in 2022, which attracted the attention of FC Fleury. She then impressed in France, notably as the best scorer in the Coupe de France last season, before joining Strasbourg.
The arrival of Inees Konaan is part of an important reinforcement for the Alsatian team. She followed the recruitment of several players in June, including Manssita Traoré, Grace Kazadi and Célia Bensalem, as well as the extension of the contract of eleven other players. These moves are in addition to a start of 14 players at the end of the 2024 season, highlighting a renewal and construction period for the club.
These four new recruits, Ines Konaan, Ananee Yeboah, Eseosa Aigbogun and Bruna Lourenço, demonstrate the ambition of the Racing Club in Strasbourg to strengthen itself and aim for excellence. The club actively managed its staff by balancing arrivals and departures, with the aim of building a competitive team for the coming seasons. This recruitment strategy aims to consolidate the payroll and bring freshness and experience to the team.
