Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and the Juventus concerning Randal Kolo Muani’s future are progressing slowly. The French player clearly expressed his desire to join the Juventus, putting an end to discussions with other European clubs, notably in the Premier League. However, an agreement between the two clubs remains difficult to achieve, mainly due to a difference in evaluation. The Juventus proposes a mandatory purchase option of 45 million euros, an amount considered insufficient by the PSG to cover 60 million. Despite a potential agreement on the transfer formula (a loan with a purchase obligation), the amount is the main obstacle.

The PSG announced the composition of its group for the Ligue 1 match against Angeers SCO, which will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Parc des Princes. Coach Luis Enrique selected twenty players, with the notable absence of Khvicha Kvartsakhhelia, suffering from muscle discomfort. João Neves is back, while Presnel Kimpembe and Senny Mayulu are out.
