Concerning Timothy Weah, the information of the Italian journalist Giovanni Albanese indicates a possible blocking of the transaction. Not because of a withdrawal of the offer from OM, but because of a change in position of the Juventus Turin, which wants to retain its versatile attacker. Although an agreement in principle exists between Weah and OM on the amount of EUR 15 million, the main obstacle lies in the absence of a mandatory purchase option for OM, a condition required by Juventus. This situation could be resolved if OM succeeded in including in the operation the integration of two laterals, instead of one, by offsetting Alberto Costa’s potential departure.
