According to the Spanish press, the attacker of Racing Miloş Luković should sign in Las Palmas and take his medical examination the next day. This signature is part of a series of recent departures from the club, following the examples of Sebaş (Bastia), Risser (Lens), Baseya (Alverca), Delaine (Le Havre), Gomis (Beveren), Ouotro (Nancy), Diong (Dunkerque), Ahmed (Châteauroux), Ali (Francs-Borains) and Sahi Dion (Dender). The Serbian striker should go on loan for a season in Las Palmas, an information confirmed by specialist journalist Fabrizio Romano. This transfer could offer Luković regular play time, after having had few opportunities in Strasbourg, where he had only played two official games since June 2024. The offensive sector of Las Palmas was reinforced by the arrival of Joaquin Panicelli, joining Eméghan and Sekou Mara.
At the same time, FC Metz obtained a special authorisation for its ultras, Horda Frénétique and Gruppa Metz, so that they could attend the derby against Strasbourg on Sunday. These groups had initially seen their East and West stands partially closed in June, following pyrotechnic incidents in a Ligue 2 match against Dunkirk. However, in agreement with the Prefecture of Moselle, the ultras will be relocated to the Western High stand, in front of the Strasbourg supporters, for reasons of public order and security. This decision allows ultras to live the derby despite previous restrictions.
For its part, the Racing Club of Strasbourg Alsace (RCSA) will be granted permission to travel its fans to Metz. About 700 Strasbourg supporters are expected in Saint-Symphorien, escorted by bus from Strasbourg. This authorization, granted by the Moselle Prefecture, was announced to the CBCN supporters’ associations. The arrival of this crowd of Strasbourg supporters promises an electric atmosphere for the eastern derby.
